machine translationʿĀṣim b. Abī al-Najūd narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Shaybān, Qays and Abū Ḥamzah al-Sukkarī narrated it, and it is said also al-Thawrī, from ʿĀṣim, from Zirr, from ʿAbdullāh, from the Prophet ﷺ. Shuʿbah reported it as a statement of the Companion (mawqūf) from ʿĀṣim, while the others raised it to the Prophet (marfūʿ). Authentic (ṣaḥīḥ).
