✧ What Came Concerning the Digging of Zamzam

قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي

أَنَّ خَدِيجَةَ تُوُفِّيَتْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أُرِيتُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ بَيْتًا لِخَدِيجَةَ مِنْ قَصَبٍ لَا صَخَبَ فِيهِ وَلَا نَصَبَ، وَهُوَ قَصَبُ اللُّؤْلُؤِ ". قَالَ: وَسُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ وَرَقَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ كَمَا بَلَغَنَا فَقَالَ: " رَأَيْتُهُ فِي الْمَنَامِ عَلَيْهِ ثِيَابٌ بَيَاضٌ، وَقَدْ أَظُنُّ أَنْ لَوْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ لَمْ أَرَ عَلَيْهِ الْبَيَاضَ ". قَالَ: ثُمَّ دَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ سِرًّا وَجَهْرًا، وَتَرْكِ الْأَوْثَانِ

Translation

✧ Khadijah died, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “I was shown in Paradise a house for Khadijah of hollow pearls, with no noise in it and no toil; it is the stem of pearls.” He said: And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about Waraqah b. Nawfal, as we have heard, and he said: “I saw him in a dream with white clothes on him, and I think that if he were from the people of the Fire, I would not have seen white on him.” He said: Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called to Islam secretly and openly, and to abandon the idols.
