عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ:
إِذَا خَرَجَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ أَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ وَمَعَهُ عَبْدٌ، فَإِنْ أَسْلَمَ فَهُوَ لَهُ، وَإِنْ سَبَقَهُ الْعَبْدُ فَأَسْلَمَ فَهُوَ حُرٌّ
Translation

✧ When a man leaves enemy territory with a slave, if the slave converts to Islam then he belongs to him, but if the slave precedes him and converts to Islam then he is free.
