عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةَ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَتْ:
نَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُوَ يَضْحَكُ فَقُلْتُ: تَضْحَكُ مِنِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا وَلَكِنْ مِنْ قَوْمٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَخْرُجُونَ غُزَاةً فِي الْبَحْرِ، مَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ الْمُلُوكِ عَلَى الْأَسِرَّةِ ثُمَّ نَامَ، ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظَ أَيْضًا فَضَحِكَ. فَقُلْتُ: تَضْحَكُ مِنِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ فَقَالَ: " لَا وَلَكِنْ مِنْ قَوْمٍ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي غُزَاةً فِي الْبَحْرِ فَيَرْجِعُونَ قَلِيلَةً غَنَائِمُهُمْ مَغْفُورًا لَهُمْ " قَالَتِ: ادْعُ اللهَ لِي أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ. قَالَ: فَدَعَا لَهَا، قَالَ: فَأَخْبَرَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ قَالَ: " فَرَأَيْتُهَا فِي غَزَاةٍ غَزَاهَا الْمُنْذِرُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ إِلَى أَرْضِ الرُّومِ وَهِيَ مَعَنَا فَمَاتَتْ بِأَرْضِ الرُّومِ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ slept, then woke up laughing. I said, 'Are you laughing at me, O Messenger of God?' He said, 'No, but at a people from my community who go out as raiders in the sea, whose likeness is like kings on couches.' Then he slept, then woke up again and laughed. I said, 'Are you laughing at me, O Messenger of God?' He said, 'No, but at a people from my community who go out as raiders in the sea and return with little booty, forgiven.' She said, 'Pray to God to make me one of them.' So he prayed for her. 'Ata' b. Yasar said: 'I saw her in a raid led by al-Mundhir b. al-Zubayr to the land of the Romans, and she was with us, and she died in the land of the Romans.'
