عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مُخْبِرٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ:
غَزْوَةٌ فِي الْبَحْرِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ عَشْرِ غَزَوَاتٍ فِي الْبَرِّ، وَمَنْ جَازَ الْبَحْرَ، فَكَأَنَّمَا جَازَ الْأَوْدِيَةَ وَالْمَائِدُ فِي السَّفِينَةِ كَالْمُتَشَحِّطِ فِي دَمِهِ
Translation
✧ A raid in the sea is better than ten raids on land. Whoever crosses the sea is as if he crossed the valleys, and the one who suffers seasickness in the ship is like the one who wallows in his blood.
