✧ Guard duty at the frontier

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ وَرْدَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
مَنْ مَاتَ مُرَابِطًا مَاتَ شَهِيدًا، وَوُقِيَ فَتَّانَ الْقَبْرِ، وَغُدِيَ وَرِيحَ بِرِزْقِهِ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَجَرَى عَلَيْهِ عَمَلُهُ
Translation
✧ Whoever dies while standing guard dies a martyr, is protected from the two tempters of the grave, and is provided morning and evening with his sustenance from Paradise, and his deeds continue for him.
