عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ جُنْدُبَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ: هَلْ كُنْتُمْ تُسَخِّرُونَ الْعَجَمَ ؟ قَالَ: " كُنَّا نُسَخِّرُهُمْ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ إِلَى قَرْيَةٍ، يَدُلُّونَا عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ ثُمَّ نُخَلِّيهِمْ
Translation
✧ I asked Jundub b. Abd Allah: 'Did you use the non-Arabs as forced guides?' He said: 'We used them from one village to another; they would show us the way, then we would let them go.'
