✧ The martyr

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ: وَيَقُولُونَ مَعَهُ - يَعْنِي عَطَاءً، وَيَزِيدُونَ عَلَيْهِ -:
الشَّهِيدُ: الْمَطْعُونُ، وَالْمَبْطُونُ، وَالْغَرِقُ، وَالنُّفَسَاءُ، وَالْمُنْهَدِمُ عَلَيْهِ
Translation
✧ The martyr is: the one who dies of plague, the one who dies of a belly ailment, the one who drowns, the woman who dies in childbirth, and the one who is crushed under a falling building.
