✧ What is done with one who misappropriates booty

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ يُؤْمَرُ بِالرَّجُلِ إِذَا غَلَّ يُؤْمَرُ بِرَحْلِهِ، فَيُبْرَزُ، فَيُحَرَّقُ " قَالَ: وَقَالَ عَمْرٌو، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ: " وَيُحْرَمُ نَصِيبَهُ مِنَ الْمَغْنَمِ
Translation
✧ A man, when he misappropriated, would be commanded regarding his saddle: it would be brought out and burned.” He said: “And 'Amr said, from al-Hasan: ‘And he would be deprived of his share of the booty.’”
