عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
حَرَّقَ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ نَاسًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الرِّدَّةِ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ: " أَتَدَعُ هَذَا الَّذِي يُعَذَّبُ بِعَذَابِ اللهِ " فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: لَا أَشِيمُ سَيْفًا سَلَّهُ اللهُ عَلَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Maʿmar, from Hishām b. ʿUrwah, from his father, who said:
✧ Khalid b. al-Walid burned some people from the apostates. Umar said to Abu Bakr: "Will you leave this one who tortures with the punishment of Allah?" Abu Bakr said: "I will not sheathe a sword Allah has drawn against the polytheists."
