عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُرَقِّعُ بْنُ صَيْفِيٍّ، عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ الْكَاتِبِ قَالَ:
غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَمَرَرْنَا بِامْرَأَةٍ قَدْ قُتِلَتْ، لَهَا خَلْقٌ، وَالنَّاسُ عَلَيْهَا فَفَرَّجُوا لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: مَا كَانَتْ هَذِهِ لِتُقَاتِلَ " ثُمَّ قَالَ: " اذْهَبْ فَالْحَقْ خَالِدًا وَقُلْ لَهُ: لَا تَقْتُلْ ذُرِّيَّةً، وَلَا عَسِيفًا
Translation
✧ We raided with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and we passed by a woman who had been killed, and people were gathered around her, so they made way for the Prophet ﷺ. He said: 'She was not one to fight.' Then he said: 'Go and catch up with Khalid and tell him: Do not kill a child nor a hired laborer.'
