✧ Cutting down trees in enemy territory

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
نَهَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ عَقْرِ الشَّجَرِ، فَإِنَّهُ عِصْمَةٌ لِلدَّوَابِّ فِي الْجَدْبِ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ forbade cutting down trees, for they are a protection for the animals in times of drought.
