✧ A man goes to battle while his father disapproves

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ قَالَ:
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَصْحَابَهُ أَنْ يُقَاتِلُوا مِنْ نَاحِيَةٍ مِنْ جَبَلٍ، فَانْصَرَفَ الرِّجَالُ عَنْهُمْ، وَبَقِيَ رَجُلٌ فَقَاتَلَهُمْ، فَرَمَوْهُ فَقَتَلُوهُ، فَجِيءَ بِهِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: " أَبَعْدَ مَا نَهَيْنَا عَنِ الْقِتَالِ ؟ " فَقَالُوا: نَعَمْ، فَتَرَكَهُ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade his companions to fight from one side of a mountain. The men turned away from them, but one man remained and fought them. They shot him and killed him. He was brought to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: "After we forbade fighting?" They said: "Yes." He left him and did not pray over him.
