عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَجُيُوشُهُ إِذَا عَلَوُا الثَّنَايَا كَبَّرُوا، وَإِذَا هَبَطُوا سَبَّحُوا، وُضِعَتِ الصَّلَاةُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ
Translation
✧ When the Prophet ﷺ and his armies ascended the mountain passes, they would say takbir, and when they descended, they would say tasbih. The prayer was established upon that.
