عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ:
كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ، فَأَشْرَفْنَا عَلَى وَادٍ، فَرَفَعَ النَّاسُ أَصْوَاتَهُمْ، أَخَذَ النَّاسُ يُكَبِّرُونَ وَيُهَلِّلُونَ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: أَرْبِعُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُمْ، إِنَّكُمْ لَا تَدْعُونَ أَصَمَّ وَلَا غَائِبًا، إِنَّهُ سَمِيعٌ قَرِيبٌ، إِنَّهُ مَعَكُمْ.
Translation
✧ We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey, and we looked down upon a valley, so the people raised their voices, they began to say takbir and tahlil. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Calm down upon yourselves, for you are not calling upon one who is deaf or absent. Indeed He is Hearing and Near. Indeed, He is with you.”
