✧ What Saddlebeasts Are Journeyed To and Prayer in the Mosque of Quba

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ مُجَمِّعِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
جَاءَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فَقَالَ: لَوْ كَانَ مَسْجِدُ قُبَاءٍ فِي أُفُقٍ مِنَ الْآفَاقِ ضَرَبْنَا إِلَيْهِ أَكْبَادَ الْمَطِيِّ
Translation
✧ Umar b. al-Khattab came and said: "If the Mosque of Quba were in one of the horizons, we would strike the livers of the riding beasts toward it."
