✧ People's Supplication at the Doors of the Mosque

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ طَارِقِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ
كَانَ إِذَا حَاذَى مَكَانًا مِنْ دَارِ يَعْلَى - نَسِيَهُ عُبَيْدُ اللهِ - اسْتَقْبَلَ الْبَيْتَ، ثُمَّ دَعَا قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ: وَكُنْتُ أَنَا أَطُوفُ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الدَّارِيُّ حَتَّى إِذَا جِئْنَا ذَلِكَ الْمَكَانَ اسْتَقْبَلَ الْبَيْتَ، ثُمَّ دَعَا، وَقَالَ: " قَدْ بَلَغَنِي فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ شَيْءٌ
Translation
✧ When he came opposite a place in the house of Yaʿlā—ʿUbayd Allāh forgot it—he would face the House and then supplicate. Ibn Jurayj said: I was performing ṭawāf with ʿAbd Allāh b. Kathīr al-Dārī until when we reached that place, he faced the House and then supplicated, and said: “Something has reached me about this place.”
