أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: حُدِّثْتُ
أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ نَزَلَتْ فِي مَسْكَنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، فَكَانَتْ تَطُوفُ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ، فَإِذَا أَرَادَتِ الطَّوَافَ أَمَرَتْ بِمَصَابِيحِ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَأُطْفِئَتْ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ طَافَتْ، فَإِذَا فَرَغَتْ مِنْ سَبْعٍ تَعَوَّذَتْ بَيْنَ الرُّكْنِ وَالْبَابِ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَتْ إِلَى الرُّكْنِ فَاسْتَلَمَتْ وَطَافَتْ سَبْعًا آخَرَ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَتْ تَعَوَّذَتْ مِنْهُ بَيْنَ الرُّكْنِ وَالْبَابِ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَتْ فَقَرَنَتْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَسَابِيعَ، ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَتْ إِلَى وَرَاءِ صُفَّةِ زَمْزَمَ، ثُمَّ صَلَّتْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمَتْ، ثُمَّ صَلَّتْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ تَفْصِلُ بَيْنَ كُلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ بِكَلَامٍ، وَكَانَ مَعَهَا امْرَأَةٌ مَوْلَاةٌ وَأُمُّ حَكِيمِ ابْنَةُ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ، وَأُمُّ حَكِيمٍ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ، قَالَتِ الْمَوْلَاةُ: فَتَذَاكَرْنَا حَسَّانَ، فَتَذَاكَرْنَا نَسَبَهُ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: ابْنُ الْفُرَيْعَةِ تُسِرُّهُ، فَنَهَتْنَا أَنْ نَسُبَّهُ، وَأَبْرَأَتْهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَيْهَا وَقَالَتْ: " إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ اللهُ الْجَنَّةَ بِقَوْلِهِ: هَجَوْتَ مُحَمَّدًا وَأَجَبْتُ عَنْهُ وَعِنْدَ اللهِ فِي ذَاكَ الْجَزَاءُ فَإِنَّ أَبِي وَوَالِدَهُ وَعِرْضِي لِعِرْضِ مُحَمَّدٍ مِنْكُمْ وِقَاءُ وَعَائِشَةُ تُنْشِدُهُمْ هَذَيْنِ الْبَيْتَيْنِ وَهِيَ تَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ
Translation
✧ A'ishah stayed in the residence of 'Utbah b. Muhammad b. al-Harith. She would perform tawaf after the last evening prayer. When she wanted to perform tawaf, she ordered the lamps of the mosque to be extinguished, all of them, then she performed tawaf. When she finished seven circuits, she sought refuge between the corner and the door, then returned to the corner and touched it, and performed another seven circuits. When she finished, she sought refuge between the corner and the door, then returned and joined three sets of seven circuits, then went behind the row of Zamzam, then prayed two rak'ahs, then spoke, then prayed two rak'ahs, separating each two rak'ahs with speech. With her was a freedwoman and Umm Hakim bt. Khalid b. al-'As, and Umm Hakim bt. 'Abd Allah b. Abi Rabi'ah. The freedwoman said: We mentioned Hassan, and we discussed his lineage. A'ishah said: "The son of al-Furay'ah," saying it quietly. She forbade us from insulting him, and she absolved him from being among those who slandered her. She said: "I hope that Allah admits him to Paradise because of his saying: 'You satirized Muhammad, but I answered on his behalf, and with Allah is the reward for that. For my father, his father, and my honor are a shield for Muhammad's honor from you.'" And A'ishah recited these two verses while she was performing tawaf around the House.
