machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ I said to ʿAṭāʾ: A man becomes junub while travelling, and he has water – is it sufficient for him to wash his face and palms, when he has enough to reach his feet, hands, and forearms? He said: No, by my life, it is not sufficient for him; so he should not omit that if it reaches his feet, hands, and forearms. Then he recited the verse of wiping, and he made them both together, and assigned to it the wiping if he does not find water.
