✧ A man becomes junub and has water enough for ablution

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ
فِي رَجُلٍ أَصَابَتْهُ جَنَابَةٌ فِي سَفَرٍ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَهُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ إِلَّا قَدْرُ وُضُوئِهِ لِلصَّلَاةِ، قَالَ: يَتَوَضَّأُ بِهِ وَلَا يَتَيَمَّمُ. قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: يَتَوَضَّأُ وَيَتَيَمَّمُ أَعْجَبُ إِلَيَّ
Translation
✧ About a man who becomes junub while travelling and has only enough water for his ablution for prayer. He said: He performs ablution with it and does not perform tayammum. Maʿmar said: He performs ablution and also performs tayammum; that is preferable to me.
