عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: كَمْ أَجْلِسُ بَعْدَ تَسْلِيمِ الْإِمَامِ إِنْ قُطِعَ بِي ؟ قَالَ: " لَا شَيْءَ، وَلَا تَجْلِسْ لِحَدِيثٍ "، قُلْتُ: أَقْطَعُ طَوَافِي إِلَى جِنَازَةٍ أُصَلِّي عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ أَرْجِعُ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا
Translation

✧ I said to Ata': How long should I sit after the imam's salutation if I am interrupted? He said: Nothing, and do not sit for conversation. I said: Should I cut short my circumambulation to attend a funeral and pray over it, then return? He said: No.
