عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: طُفْتُ سَبْعًا وَصَلَّيْتُ، ثُمَّ جَاءَنِي الْبَيْتُ أَنِّي طُفْتُ سِتَّةَ أَطْوَافٍ، قَالَ: فَطُفْ سَبْعًا آخَرَ، وَاجْعَلْهَا ثَمَانِيَةَ أَطْوَافٍ، قَالَ عَطَاءٌ: إِنْ طُفْتَ سِتَّةَ أَطْوَافٍ فَطُفْ وَاحِدًا وَصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ I said to ʿAṭāʾ: I performed seven circuits and prayed, then it occurred to me that I had performed six circuits. He said: Then perform another seven, and count them as eight circuits. ʿAṭāʾ said: If you have performed six circuits, then perform one more and pray two rakʿahs.
