✧ Recitation During Circumambulation and Talking

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:
إِنَّمَا الطَّوَافُ صَلَاةٌ، فَإِذَا طُفْتُمْ فَأَقِلُّوا الْكَلَامَ
Translation
✧ Circumambulation is merely prayer, so when you circumambulate, speak little.
