عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، وَعَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ، وَغَيْرِهِمَا،
أَنَّ عُمَرَ قَدِمَ فَنَزَلَ فِي دَارِ ابْنِ سِبَاعٍ فَقَالَ: " يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ " لِعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ - فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ الْمَقَامَ فِي مَوْضِعِهِ الْآنَ قَالَ: وَكَانَ عُمَرُ اشْتَكَى رَأْسَهُ، فَقَالَ: " يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ صَلِّ بِالنَّاسِ الْمَغْرِبَ " قَالَ: فَصَلَّيْتُ وَرَاءَهُ، وَكُنْتُ أَوَّلَ مَنْ صَلَّى وَرَاءَهُ حِينَ وُضِعَ ثُمَّ قَالَ: فَأَحْسَسْتُ عُمَرَ، وَقَدْ صَلَّيْتُ رَكْعَةً، فَصَلَّى وَرَائِي مَا بَقِيَ
Translation
✧ Umar arrived and stayed in the house of Ibn Siba'. He said: 'O Abu Abd al-Rahman,' to Abd Allah b. al-Sa'ib, and ordered him to place the Station in its current position. Umar had a headache, so he said: 'O Abu Abd al-Rahman, lead the people in Maghrib prayer.' He said: 'So I prayed, and I was the first to pray behind it when it was placed.' Then he said: 'I sensed Umar after I had prayed one rak'ah, and he prayed behind me what remained.'
