✧ How Few the Pilgrims Are, and What Wealth Is Not Accepted in Hajj

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْمُثَنَّى يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ طَاوُسًا يَقُولُ:
كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ إِذْ مَرَّتْ بِهِ رُفْقَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ، قَدْ أَحَفُّوا بِالْمَاءِ وَالْحَطَبِ، فَقَالَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ: مَا رَأَيْتُ أَشْبَهَ بِنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ هَؤُلَاءِ
Translation
✧ I was sitting with Jabir b. Abd Allah when a group from Yemen passed by, having carried water and firewood. Jabir b. Abd Allah said, “I have not seen anyone more resembling us with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than these.”
