عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ:
خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَعْضِ أَسْفَارِهِ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِالْبَيْدَاءِ - أَوْ بِذَاتِ الْجَيْشِ - انْقَطَعَ عِقْدِي قَالَ: فَأَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى الْتِمَاسِهِ، وَأَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ وَلَيْسَ مَعَهُمْ مَاءٌ، فَأَتَى النَّاسُ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَقَالُوا: أَلَا تَرَى إِلَى مَا صَنَعَتْ عَائِشَةُ، أَقَامَتْ بِالنَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَبِالنَّاسِ وَلَيْسَ مَعَهُمْ مَاءٌ قَالَتْ: فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَاضِعٌ رَأْسَهُ عَلَى فَخِذِي، قَالَ: حَبَسْتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَالنَّاسَ، وَلَيْسُوا عَلَى مَاءٍ وَلَيْسَ مَعَهُمْ مَاءٌ، فَعَاتَبَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَقَالَ لِي مَا شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ يَقُولَ، وَجَعَلَ يَطْعُنُنِي بِيَدِهِ فِي خَاصِرَتِي فَلَا يَمْنَعُنِي مِنَ التَّحَرُّكِ إِلَّا مَكَانُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَنَامَ عَلَى فَخِذِي حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ عَلَى غَيْرِ مَاءٍ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ آيَةَ التَّيَمُّمِ فَتَيَمَّمُوا. فَقَالَ أُسَيْدُ بْنُ حُضَيْرٍ: مَا هِيَ بِأَوَّلِ بَرَكَتِكُمْ يَا آلَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: فَبَعَثْنَا الْبَعِيرَ الَّتِي كُنْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَوَجَدْنَا الْعِقْدَ تَحْتَهُ
Translation
✧ We went out with the Messenger of God ﷺ on one of his journeys, until when we were at al-Bayda - or at Dhat al-Jaysh - my necklace broke. She said: The Prophet ﷺ stayed to search for it, and the people stayed with him, and they had no water. The people came to Abu Bakr and said: Do you not see what Aisha has done? She has detained the Prophet ﷺ and the people, and they have no water. She said: Then Abu Bakr came while the Prophet ﷺ had his head resting on my thigh. He said: You have detained the Prophet ﷺ and the people, and they are not at a water source, and they have no water. Abu Bakr reproached me and said to me whatever God willed that he should say, and he began poking me with his hand in my side, but nothing prevented me from moving except the place of the Messenger of God ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ slept on my thigh until morning without water. Then God revealed the verse of tayammum, and they performed tayammum. Usayd b. Hudayr said: This is not the first of your blessings, O family of Abu Bakr. She said: Then we made the camel that I had been riding get up, and we found the necklace under it.
