عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَوْ غَيْرِهِ قَالَ:
سَقَطَ عِقْدٌ لِعَائِشَةَ فَأَرْسَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَعْشَرًا يَبْتَغُونَهُ، فَأَدْرَكَهُمُ الصُّبْحُ وَلَيْسَ مَعَهُمْ مَاءٌ، فَصَلَّوْا بِغَيْرِ طُهُورٍ فَشَكَوْا ذَلِكَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَنَزَلَ التَّيَمُّمُ. قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَيُّوبُ قَالَ: مَرَّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ بِعَائِشَةَ فَقَالَ: حَبَسْتِ النَّاسَ وَعَنَّيْتِيهِمْ. قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: وَقَالَ هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، وَقَالَهُ أَيُّوبُ أَيْضًا. قَالَ: فَلَمَّا نَزَلَ التَّيَمُّمُ سُرَّ بِذَلِكَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَقَالَ: مَا عَلِمْتُكِ لَمُبَارَكَةٌ مَا نَزَلَ بِكِ أَمْرٌ تَكْرَهِينَهُ إِلَّا جَعَلَ اللهُ - تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى - لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ فِيهِ خَيْرًا
Translation
✧ A necklace of Aisha fell, so the Prophet ﷺ sent a group to search for it. Dawn overtook them while they had no water, so they prayed without purification. They complained about that to the Prophet ﷺ, and then tayammum was revealed. Ma'mar said: Ayyub informed me, saying: Abu Bakr passed by Aisha and said: You have detained the people and caused them hardship. Ma'mar said: Hisham said from his father, and Ayyub also said it. He said: When tayammum was revealed, Abu Bakr was pleased with that and said: I did not know that you were blessed; no matter disliked by you befalls you but God - blessed and exalted - makes in it good for the Muslims.
