✧ The Elephant and Eating Elephant Meat

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ: لَا يُمْسِكَنَّ النَّاسُ عَلَيَّ بِشَيْءٍ؛ فَإِنِّي لَا أُحِلُّ إِلَّا مَا أَحَلَّ اللهُ فِي كِتَابِهِ، وَلَا أُحَرِّمُ إِلَّا مَا حَرَّمَ اللهُ فِي كِتَابِهِ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ said in his illness in which he died: Let not the people hold anything back from me; for I do not make lawful except what God made lawful in His Book, and I do not make unlawful except what God made unlawful in His Book.
