✧ The Elephant and Eating Elephant Meat

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ حُبَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ:
سُئِلَ سَلْمَانُ عَنِ الْجُبْنِ، وَالْفِرَاءِ، وَالسَّمْنِ ؟ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ حَلَالَ اللهِ حَلَالُهُ الَّذِي أَحَلَّ فِي الْقُرْآنِ، وَإِنَّ حَرَامَ اللهِ الَّذِي حَرَّمَ اللهُ فِي الْقُرْآنِ، وَإِنَّ مَا سِوَى ذَلِكَ شَيْءٌ عَفَا عَنْهُ
Translation
✧ Salmān was asked about cheese, furs, and clarified butter? He said: God's lawful is what He made lawful in the Qur'an, and God's unlawful is what He made unlawful in the Qur'an, and whatever is other than that is something pardoned.
