✧ The Cat, the Locust, the Bat, and Eating Locusts

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:
ذُكِرَ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ جَرَادٌ بِالرَّبَذَةِ، فَقَالَ: وَدِدْتُ لَوْ أَنَّ عِنْدَنَا مِنْهُ قَفْعَةٌ أَوْ قَفْعَتَيْنِ
Translation
✧ Locusts were mentioned to ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb at al-Rabadha, and he said: I wish we had a basket or two of them.
