عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ الْحَسَنَ:
كُرِهَ أَكْلُ الْخُفَّاشِ، وَأَكْلِ السَّوَالِي

✧ Eating the bat and the [large lizards called] sawālī was disliked.
