✧ Game of the Broad-Headed Arrow

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ
فِي الْمِعْرَاضِ: " إِنْ سَقَطَ فَكُلْهُ، وَإِلَّا فَهُوَ مَيْتٌ، وَإِذَا رَمَيْتَ بِسَهْمٍ لَيْسَ فِيهِ حَدِيدَةٌ فَهُوَ مَيْتَةٌ، وَإِذَا رَمَيْتَ بِسَهْمٍ فِيهِ حَدِيدَةٌ فَكَذَلِكَ
Translation
✧ Regarding the broad-headed arrow: “If it falls [struck by the broad head], then eat it; otherwise it is carrion. And if you shoot with an arrow that has no iron head, it is carrion. And if you shoot with an arrow that has an iron head, then likewise [if it does not pierce, it is carrion].”
