عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:

الْمُسْلِمُ اسْمٌ مِنْ أَسْمَاءِ اللهِ، فَإِذَا نَسِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يُسَمِّيَ عَلَى الذَّبِيحَةِ فَلْيُسَمِّ وَلْيَأْكُلْ

Translation

✧ “The Muslim is a name from among the names of Allah. So if one of you forgets to mention the name [of Allah] over the slaughtered animal, let him mention it and eat.”
