✧ The Slaughter of the Vain and Its Casting, and What Cannot Be Slaughtered

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ
كَرِهَ أَكْلَ ذَبِيحَةِ الْعَبَثِ يَقُولُ: " إِنْ طَعَنْتَهُ أَوْ ذَبَحْتَهُ بِالسَّيْفِ عَبَثًا فَلَا تَأْكُلْهُ
Translation

✧ He disliked eating the slaughter of vain play. He said: "If you stab it or slaughter it with a sword in vain play, do not eat it."
