✧ The concession for the muhrim to eat game

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،
أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ كَرِهَ أَكْلَ يَعَاقِيبَ اصْطِيدَتْ لَهُمْ، وَهُمْ مُحْرِمُونَ، قَالَ: " إِنَّمَا اصْطِيدَتْ لِي، وَأُمِيتَتْ بِاسْمِي "
Translation
✧ Uthman disliked eating quails that were hunted for them while they were in ihram. He said, "It was only hunted for me and killed on my account."
