✧ The gazelle and the jerboa

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ،
أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ " فِي رَجُلٍ طَرَحَ عَلَى يَرْبُوعٍ جَوَالِقًا فَقَتَلَهُ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ، حَكَمَ فِيهِ جَفْرًا "، أَوْ قَالَ: " جَفْرَةً
Translation
✧ Ibn Mas'ud said: "For a man who threw a sack over a jerboa and killed it while he was in ihram, he ruled a young he-goat," or he said: "a young she-goat."
