✧ The gazelle and the jerboa

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، وَمَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ،
أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ حَكَمَ فِي الْيَرْبُوعِ جَفْرَةً "، قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ: قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ: " حُكُومَةً
Translation
✧ Umar b. al-Khattab ruled for a jerboa: a young she-goat." Ma'mar said: "Al-Zuhri said: 'A ruling of compensation.'"
