✧ The sacrifices

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ:
لَأَنْ أُضَحِّيَ بِجَذَعٍ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُضَحِّيَ بِهَرَمٍ؛ اللهُ أَحَقُّ بِالْغِنَى وَالْكَرَمِ، وَأَحَبُّهُنَّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ أُضَحِّيَ بِهِ أَحَبُّهُنَّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ أَقْتَنِيَهُ
Translation
✧ That I sacrifice a jadhaʿ is more beloved to me than sacrificing an old animal. Allah is more deserving of richness and generosity. The most beloved of them to me to sacrifice is the one most beloved to me to keep as property.
