✧ The woman's perfume, then she goes out from her house

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:

كَانَ يُنْهَى أَنْ تَطَيَّبَ الْمَرْأَةُ، وَتَزَيَّنُ ثُمَّ تَخْرُجُ قُلْتُ: وَالنَّاكِحُ ؟ قَالَ: " وَالنَّاكِحُ "، ثُمَّ قَالَ ﴿وَلا تَبَرَّجْنَ ﴾قَالَ لَهُ آخَرُ: وَتَبَرُّجٌ ذَلِكَ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، تَخْرُجُ كَذَلِكَ، فَيُسْأَلُ عَنْهَا مَنْ هِيَ ؟

Translation

✧ He used to forbid a woman from perfuming herself and adorning herself and then going out. I said: 'Even the one going to her husband?' He said: 'Even the one going to her husband.' Then he said: 'And do not display yourselves.' Another said to him: 'Is that display?' He said: 'Yes, she goes out like that, and it is asked about her: Who is she?'
