عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ أَيَنْبَغِي لَهُ أَنْ يُخَاصِمَ إِلَى أَمِيرٍ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا "، قُلْتُ: إِنْ دُعِيَ ؟ قَالَ: يَقُولُ: " إِنِّي مُجَاوِرٌ "
Translation
✧ I said to 'Ata': “Should he litigate before a commander?” He said: “No.” I said: “If he is summoned?” He said: “He should say: 'I am a mujawir.'”
