عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَيَأْتِي الْمُجَاوِرُ الْمَجَالِسَ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ ؟ وَيَتَحَدَّثُ مَعَهُمْ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ "، قُلْتُ: أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ جِوَارُهُ فِي جَوْفِ الْمَسْجِدِ، أَيَخْرُجُ إِنْ شَاءَ فَيَجْلِسُ فِي أَبْوَابِهِ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا يَخْرُجُ إِلَّا لِحَاجَةٍ "
Translation
✧ I said to 'Ata': “Does the mujawir attend gatherings in the mosques and converse with them?” He said: “Yes.” I said: “What do you think if his stay is in the interior of the mosque, may he go out if he wishes and sit at its gates?” He said: “He does not go out except for a need.”
