✧ There is no I'tikaf except with fasting

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ:
سُنَّةُ مَنِ اعْتَكَفَ أَنْ يَصُومَ
Translation
✧ The sunnah of one who observes i'tikaf is to fast.
