✧ Spiritual retreat and I'tikaf

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءً، يُخْبِرُ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ قَالَ:
إِنِّي لَأَمْكُثُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ السَّاعَةَ، وَمَا أَمْكُثُ إِلَّا لِأَعْتَكِفَ
Translation
✧ I surely remain in the mosque for an hour, and I remain only to perform i'tikaf.
