✧ Spiritual retreat and I'tikaf

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ:
الْحَرَمُ كُلُّهُ مَسْجِدٌ يَعْتَكِفُ فِي أَيِّهِ شَاءَ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ فِي مَنْزِلِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا يُصَلِّي إِلَّا فِي جَمَاعَةٍ
Translation
✧ The entire Haram is a mosque; he may observe i'tikaf in whichever part of it he wishes, and if he wishes, in his dwelling, except that he should not pray except in congregation.
