عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ شُعَيْبٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ:
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْفَرَعَةِ فَقَالَ: الْفَرَعَةُ حَقٌّ، وَأَنْ تَتْرُكَهُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ شُغْرُفِيًّا ابْنَ مَخَاضٍ، أَوِ ابْنَ لَبُونٍ فَتَحْمِلَ عَلَيْهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، أَوْ تُعْطِيَهُ أَرْمَلَةً خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ تَذْبَحَهُ، يَلْصَقُ لَحْمُهُ بِوَبَرِهِ، وَتَكْفَأُ إِنَاءَكَ، وَتُوَلِّهُ نَاقَتَكَ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was asked about the fara'ah. He said: "The fara'ah is a right, but that you leave it until it becomes a shughrufi, a b. makhad or a b. labun, and then carry [someone] on it in the path of God, or give it to a widow, is better than slaughtering it, when its flesh would stick to its fur, and you would overturn your vessel, and bereave your she-camel."
