أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، أَنَّ سِبَاعَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ، يَزْعُمُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ ثَابِتِ بْنِ سِبَاعٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ كُرْزٍ، أَخْبَرَتْهُ
أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْعَقِيقَةِ فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ عَلَى الْغُلَامِ ثِنْتَانِ، وَعَلَى الْجَارِيَةِ الْأُنْثَى وَاحِدَةٌ، وَلَا يَضُرُّكُمْ ذُكْرَانًا كُنَّ أَمْ إِنَاثًا

✧ She asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the 'aqiqah. He said: "Yes, for a boy two, and for a girl one, and it does not harm you whether they are male or female."
