✧ The virtue of fasting

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، أَنَّ كَعْبًا قَالَ:
الصَّائِمُ فِي عِبَادَةٍ مَا لَمْ يَغْتَبْ
Translation
✧ The fasting person is in worship as long as he does not backbite.
