✧ The woman's fasting without her husband's permission

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:

قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى لِعَطَاءٍ: كَانَ يُقَالُ: لِتُفْطِرِ الْمَرْأَةُ لِزَوْجِهَا، وَالرَّجُلُ لِضَيْفِهِ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ تُصَلِّي فَلْتَنْصَرِفْ إِلَيْهِ

Translation

✧ Sulayman b. Musa said to ʿAtaʾ: It used to be said: The woman should break her fast for her husband, and the man for his guest? He said: Yes, and if she is praying, she should turn to him.
