عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، مَوْلَى آلِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ ابْنُ الْحَوْتَكِيَّةِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:
مَنْ حَاضِرُنَا يَوْمَ الْقَاحَةِ ؟ إِذْ أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِالْأَرْنَبِ، فَقَالَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ: أَنَا، أَتَى أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِأَرْنَبٍ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي رَأَيْتُهَا تُدْمِي، فَقَالَ: " كُلُوا مِنْهَا " وَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَأْكُلْ هُوَ، فَقَالَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ: إِنِّي صَائِمٌ، فَقَالَ: " وَمَا صَوْمُكَ ؟ " فَذَكَرَ شَيْئًا، فَقَالَ: أَيْنَ أَنْتَ عَنِ الْغُرِّ الْبِيضِ ثَلَاثَةَ عَشَرَ، وَأَرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ، وَخَمْسَةَ عَشَرَ
Translation
✧ Who among us was present on the day of al-Qāḥa when a rabbit was brought to the Prophet ﷺ? Abū Dharr said: I was. A bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ with a rabbit and said: 'I saw it bleeding.' He said: 'Eat from it,' and he mentioned that he himself did not eat. The bedouin said: 'I am fasting.' He said: 'And what is your fast?' He mentioned something, so he said: 'Where are you from the bright white days—the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth?'
