✧ Fasting during the sacred months

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ قَالَ:
ذُكِرَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَوْمٌ يَصُومُونَ رَجَبًا، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " فَأَيْنَ هُمْ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ ؟ " قَالَ زَيْدٌ: " وَكَانَ أَكْثَرُ صِيَامِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ رَمَضَانَ شَعْبَانَ
Translation
✧ A people who fast Rajab were mentioned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Where are they from Sha'ban?" Zayd said: "And the most the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fasted after Ramadan was Sha'ban."
